The almond varieties that we use for our productions are Tuono, Genco, Supernova Ferragnes, Romana, Pizzuta and Fascionello, all typical varieties of Sicily.
\nThe almond harvest takes place in August and September. After the harvest and after the smallatura, the almonds are dried for 3-4 days in the sun.<\/p>\n

The company was born in 1998 in a territory which is strongly agricultural and rural advocated, Camporeale (between Alcamo and Palermo), joining the salesian community Itaca, which it’s involved in the welcoming of young people with social disease and promoting, through the project Jonathan, their putting inside the world of work.<\/p>\n
Since the beginning the cooperative has managed to give back dignity to the farmers, promoting concrete actions against the commercial and working exploitation and putting out there methods of biological agriculture which are based on the biodiversity and on native coltures.<\/p>\n
From the beginning they understood the importance of the unions among farmers, alone everybody would have done not so much or nothing.
